Hi, My name is Maryrose. Francesca was my new friend in NY. We met at the church Our Lady of Pompeii. The last time I saw her, we went out for lunch after daily mass and had a wonderful time. She spoke with great fondness and love for her children. I was away when she went home to God and just found out. My condolences. She was a lovely woman. I loved hearing her read the readings in her Italian accent and sing Allelluia. Peace to the family. I miss her already.

My heart is saddened to hear of the passing of Frances, aka Franca to the old GV Italians. She was a sweet, kind woman who cared and always helped her friends and neighbors and the older Italian ladies. She kept the Italian rosary tradition going which my mother enjoyed listening to. She'd call me to ask about my Mom, which always touched my heart. She truly was a very special lady and probably the last one of the old Italian woman left that I knew growing up. My sincere condolences to Angelo, Vinny, Joseph and Frances and their families. May you find solace and peace knowing she is in heaven, praying the rosary in Italian with all those she helped throughout her years here on earth. My thoughts and prayers are with you all...
