Obituary of Josephine Cuccia

April 19, 1923 - May 16, 2023

Josephine Ferrro Cuccia a/k/a Mama Jo a/k/a mom passed away on Tuesday. So grateful we were able to celebrate her 100th birthday with family and dear friends a few weeks ago.

Arrangements:

The Wake for my mom will be at Perazzo’s Funeral Home, 199 Bleecker Street  from 2pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm on Monday, May 22.

There will be a funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 10:30am. It is across the street from Perazzo’s Funeral Home.

Then the family and close friends will head to St. John’s Cemetery in Queens for a final goodbye.

In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in Mama Jo’s name to Paul Magnus Foundation, in memory of her great grandson, Paulie, who passed away on January 7, 2023 at the age of 2 1/2, to keep alive my mom’s commitment to helping others that lives on through her 4 children, 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
