Obituary of Nancy Mullen

MULLEN, Nancy A. (Donnoli), 76, passed away peacefully with family at her side on July 29, 2025 in New York City, following a short illness. Daughter of the late Simeone and Celia Donnoli (Areniello), she was raised on Prince Street and cherished 70 years of friendship with classmates and childhood neighbors. She met her husband, the late Thomas P. Mullen, while working at New York University; they wed atop Mount Kilimanjaro in 1988. Since 1991, she has been a celebrated member of the community at Crunch Fitness downtown. She is survived by her beloved daughters Katherine Mullen of Brooklyn, and her partner Benjamin Cole, and Samantha Mullen of Queens; her brother Robert Donnoli of Fort Lee, N.J.; and many treasured family members. Friends may call at the Perazzo Funeral Home, 199 Bleecker St., New York, NY on Monday, August 4, from 4-8pm.

Katie, Samantha, and the members of Nancy’s family,
I am very sorry to learn this sudden loss of beautiful woman, Nancy.
Nancy was a serene, classy, and Mary woman I’ve always respected as a friend. It is still hard to digest that Nancy is gone and I cannot see her. It will change the whole dynamic of our annual lunch with Anne and Lizza, without Nancy.
Especially with Katie and Samantha, I hope the day will come when you feel that Nancy and Tom will be by your side with their smiles to remind you that their strength in core are passed on to you both.
May all the family members will go through this hardest time together and support each other.
I will always regret I am not at the service due to my health conditions.
May Nancy rest in peace.
