Obituary of Melissa “Meli” Ali Simoes

Melissa “Meli” Ali Simoes died in Allentown, Pennsylvania on November 13, 2025. Melissa was born and raised on Sullivan Street with; her mother, Verona, who passed when Melissa was 14 years old, her father, Jose Antonio, who still resides on Sullivan Street and is an active member of St. Anthony’s Church, and her older sister and only sibling, Ana, who works at St. Anthony’s Church. 

Melissa attended and graduated St. Anthony’s School and received all sacraments through St. Anthony’s.

Melissa resided in Allentown, PA at the time of her death with her daughter, Aliya, partner, Joe, and grandchildren, Iyaliz, EJ, Baya and Junior. Melissa is survived by a large family including, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins who will miss her dearly.
